Seating
Located in the heart of the CBD, Melbourne Town Hall (built in 1867) has played host to great musical events for many decades in the historic central hall. The venue’s acoustics are superb, and there are many car parking and dining options within easy walking distance.
Please note: bag checks are now in place for all events at the Melbourne Town Hall. These checks are a condition of entry and take place at the base of the main steps of the Swanston Street entrance. We recommend allowing extra time to arrive at concerts to avoid delayed entry.
Ticketing
For MSO performances at the Melbourne Town Hall, our ticket desk is located in the main foyer on Level 1. This desk open for ticket collection and sales from 90 minutes before the start of each performance.
