Based in the heart of Melbourne’s performing arts precinct of Southbank, Iwaki Auditorium is a small concert hall that comfortably seats up to 400 people. The space features full orchestral lighting and a pneumatic orchestral percussion riser.
The auditorium is named after Maestro Hiroyuki Iwaki whose long association with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra resulted in him being named Conductor Laureate.
For performances and events at the Iwaki Auditorium, our ticket desk is located in the main entry foyer, accessible via Southbank Blvd. This desk open for ticket collection and sales from one hour before the start of each performance.
