Our signature fundraising event of the year is the Black & White Benefit Gala on October 9, which will raise funds for the MSO’s Education and Community Engagement programs.

Education and community engagement are core to the MSO’s mission and we are proud of our reputation as a pioneer of programs for children, families, schools and communities. Through this work, we are privileged to witness the transformative impact of music and live orchestral encounters.

The Black & White Benefit Gala is both a celebration of how music changes lives, as well as a chance to bid on some covetable auction items including:

• A Jéroboam of LOUIS XIII Cognac Grande Champagne. One of only five available in Australia, this prize is valued at $50,000 and includes a three-litre, Baccarat crystal decanter, four Baccarat crystal glasses and an intimate LOUIS XIII dinner with eight guests, led by the LOUIS XIII Brand Ambassador.
• The ultimate luxury fashion experience courtesy of Giorgio Armani and Emirates. For this priceless experience, the successful bidder will attend the exclusive Giorgio Armani Women’s Spring/Summer 2020 show in Milan, with flights and accommodation at the Armani Hotel.
• A chance to join the MSO on tour to the USA in October 2019. Be an MSO VIP, travel together, stay where the musicians stay, and cheer on your favourite orchestra in some of the most revered concert halls in the USA. Valued at $20,000 plus airfares.
