About this event
Join us as we celebrate some of our local heroes for International Women’s Day.
In its 115-year history the MSO has established itself as an important, vibrant and resilient cultural institution. This event celebrates the women who have built the foundation for that strength and explores how the Superwomen of today inspire and nurture the leaders of tomorrow.
The evening will encompass storytelling and performance, with six superwomen of the MSO sharing their individual experiences of working in the organisation (and beyond), complemented by performances from Sophie Rowell and Tiffany Cheng of music for violin by Australian women composers.
This event will run for approximately 60 minutes.
This event will be filmed; there will be cameras in the auditorium.

The MSO’s International Women’s Day program is proudly presented by Equity Trustees.

Music and Ideas is supported by City of Melbourne.
