Jeremy Fernandez is an ABC News presenter, journalist and producer specialising in live events and multi-platform news coverage.

He has anchored and reported in the field for some of the network’s most complex broadcasts over two decades including coverage of the Black Summer bushfires, Australia’s Covid-19 pandemic response, the death of Prince Philip - Duke of Edinburgh, The Australian Of The Year Awards, New Years Eve and Australia Day Live on Sydney Harbour, Sydney’s Martin Place Siege, Melbourne’s Commonwealth Games, and Perth’s Claremont serial killer investigation.

Jeremy regularly appears on ABC News NSW at 7PM, the ABC News Channel, and the network’s streaming services.

He has also worked with community and charitable organisations and institutions including the Australian Human Rights Commission, Sydney World Pride, The Top Blokes Foundation, Mindframe, Suicide Prevention Australia, Room To Read, Dress for Success, and the United Nations Association of Australia.
