Klearhos Murphy is a Greek-Australian composer who is currently studying a Master of Music (Research) at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. He has worked with national and international ensembles such as the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, West Australian Symphony Orchestra, Perth Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Pops Orchestra, Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, and the WAAPA Symphony Orchestra.

In 2023, he was awarded Willoughby Symphony Orchestra's Young Composer of the Year 2023 award, and participated in the Saruya Artists Residency in Fujiyama, Japan in the same year. In 2024, Klearhos was accepted for Omega Ensemble’s CoLAB: Composer Accelerator Program as well as Ensemble Offspring’s Hatched Academy 2023, with both programs featuring world premieres at the Sydney Opera House.

Klearhos also enjoys teaching orchestration, music theory and music history at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and Janet Clarke Hall.
